Read what our staff say about working at AWE :

 Beth:  Warhead Mechanical Engineer

I am just finishing the graduate scheme and starting work in Additive Manufacturing (AM). On the graduate scheme I have worked in ‘In Service Support’ where I helped with ensuring the system and components through life.

Graduates 2016

 Gurjinder- Graduate Electrical Warhead Engineer

My job involves designing, building and then testing electronic circuits, to be integrated within a larger system of the weapon’s electronics.

Graduates 2016

Belinda : Dispersion Scientist (Physics Graduate)

I work on assessing and developing dispersion models, which is the mathematical simulation of emissions as they are transported throughout the atmosphere- think about the spread of smoke coming from a chimney

Belinda

John : Graduate Commissioning Engineer

The world economy is driven by science, technology, engineering and manufacturing – it’s here where you can make a difference to the world, which is why I joined the AWE engineering graduate programme.

 John

Chris : Graduate Engineer

The graduate scheme is very structured and can be very “hands-on”. I’ve worked on the design and manufacture of experiments for plasma physics and explosives trials. The work at AWE is unique!

Staff - Graduate - Engineer

Helen : Dynamic Modelling Engineer

I create dynamic models of systems and improve the modelling tools and techniques we use. The great thing about AWE is the flexibility, you are able to move around and try different things.
