Talks and demos

We aim to make our talks and demonstrations fun, so pupil participation is very much on the agenda. Our visits to primary schools as part of the Primary Science Challenge are a great example.

We are also able to offer targeted talks which support the science curriculum.  Here are a few examples

ashford hill science and innovation day lectures  North Waltham primary school water cycle talk
 Optics talk  Water cycle talk
Norman Godfrey with the science kit school talk-radiation
 Materials Science talk Radiation talk

However if you have another science topic in mind which you need our support with get in touch with us at communityandschools@awe.co.uk and if we have the expertise we will do our best to help.

As part of our work with educational charities Basingstoke Consortium and West Berkshire Education Partnership we support a range of talks and activities in school assemblies to help open students eyes to career opportunities in areas such as engineering.
