Business Administration apprenticeship

As a business administrator at AWE your role will include inputting visit details to enable visitors to access site, raising purchase requisitions, diary and inbox management, booking of meeting rooms and allocation of keys, control of classified documents and many other transactional administration tasks to support all areas of AWE. 
 
What does a typical day look like?
As an apprentice you will initially be based within the onsite training facility, where you will develop your basic knowledge and core skills, before progressing on to the onsite aspect of your training. At this point you will now start to apply and further develop these core skills in a live working environment. In addition to the vocational aspects of your training, we will further your knowledge of business administration through academic studies as you work towards the completion of your level 3 NVQ certificate.

  • PC literate
    • Good communication skills
    • Excellent team working skills

Entry requirements
Preferably GCSE in Math and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

Qualifications achieved during the apprenticeship:

• Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration
• Level 2 English, Maths & ICT (Functional Skills) – If required
• Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
• Process Safety Awareness Certificate
 
Duration of training: 2 years

Starting salary: 10500
